Weta

Kia ora. Last week for my groups reading follow-up we had to do 2 activities. My group had till this Thursday to do it because we started later than two other groups. The first one was to make a poster about weta facts.The second thing we had to do was pick one thing out of a  Google drawing.                The picture is on the next blog down . Go check it out after you have finished reading this one and it will make more sense.  I was going to pick the one that you have to make a habitat for weta but then I picked the one that you had to make a  life cycle about weta.

Covid-19 Poster

Kia ora on the first week of coming back to school from lock-down we did posters about what we did in lock-down.     We first had to write it down and then we could color it in.    I did one section of the poster at a time when I did my one.

                                                                                   

                          

Mandala

Kia ora To day for art I did a Mandala what that is it is a art the you can do out side or on a pace of paper.    You can find stuff out side and then you make a circle with the stuff that you find outside and then you make the inside nice and pretty.

Here is my one that I did.

Mothers Day

Kia ora for Mothers day I made a paper collage boll and in side of it we made chocolate dipped coconut rough to go in side and a cared.

First we had to make the boll.      How we did it was we first put glad-wrap around a plastic container.      After that we put on layers of gluey paper.  The teacher took our cup off the container and then we got to pant it.

We were allowed to pant the hole thing in one color and then we could do designs on it or we could do one color in the inside and another color in the outside.    But I picked the first one.


And then we made our cards we had to write in then first.   The next day we were allowed to make the flowers some of the little ones got to do the easier one and the older ones got to do the harder ones.
 


            

  At the end of that day we put the chocolate in the container and then we wrapped it up.  

Star Wars Animations

Kia ora this week for international Star Wars day my class room made an animation about star wars.

On the slide we had one slide full of characters and we were allowed to pick the characters that we wanted to use I only used two of then.     


   

Leala's Narrative 30/4

Kia ora today for writing we had to write about a alien picture.
 

Here is my story


One day in lock-down me,  my parents and my two sisters, that I live with, went on a walk.                                                                                                     
We discovered this frightening, old, creaky, abandoned farm that I think used to grow corn on it and lots of   different vegetables.

    We went to go and check it out but my mum didn't.       She stayed with my little sister Moana because she was too scared, so they just stayed behind.      Suddenly the colors in the sky  changed. 

I got too scared and ran back to my mum and little sister.  Then the sky changed back to normal.   I went back in and it was normal again.  I ran as fast as I could to my dad and older sister Mea. 

Suddenly I saw something above me.      I looked up and it flew past again it looked almost like an alien ship.     The alien looking ship landed and an alien came running after us.   I screamed and ran as fast as I had ever ran in my life.  I got to my mum and told her to start running. We ran home because we were so scared.

When we got home we ran inside and locked the doors.   We shut all the Chesterton and put our mattress on the grown in the living room and watched movies until the alien left.
