Paper Snow Ball Fight

 Kia ora. On Tuesday we started back at school. Before morning tea Miss Scott told us about what we were going to be doing after morning tea. Miss Scott said that we are going to be having a snow ball fight. Once she told us what we where doing there was a few minutes till morning tea so we all made our own paper snow balls. 

We  first had to get one piece of paper and write three things about our self that would be hard to find out about our self. Then we had to scrunched up our piece of paper.

And then after morning tea we graded our scrunched up our piece of paper then went out to the field. When we where out on the field Miss Scott told us that we only had a certain amount of space. Then we went into our own little space. 

And then we where allowed to throw them at each other. If Miss Scott blew the whistle we had to stop and open our piece of paper. If we did not have an piece of paper in our hand then we had to find one. Then we had to go around and ask people about them.

 If we found them then we had to stay by them. We did like 5 rounds of the game. 

100 Word Count

 Kia ora everybody. This week we only had to do our spelling and 100 word count for our reading. 

For our active this week we had a sentence the sentence was I didn’t remember putting it on.

here is my story

It was an cold rainy day in the jungle and me and my elephant family had to hide away from the other killer animals. Me and my little sister named Elle the elephant had to stay hidden while our other family went to go get food. I went out to go see what was happening because our family was taking a long time. I didn’t remember putting it on. Then I realized that I had lots of blood over me. I went back to where me and my little sister we're hiding and my parents were back. I was glad. 

EOTC WEEK

 Kia ora everybody. For the last few days we had this thing called Eotc week. Eotc is when the year five and six do fun stuff at other places, but the year fours get to go only one day. 

This year we got to go to lots of places like Clip n Climb, Quail Island, New Brighton Hot Pools and we also got to go surfing. When we went surfing we got fish n chips as well. 

My favorite part about going to Sumner beach and going surfing there was when I played Among Us with some people, in this little cave part on the sand. my other favorite part was when I stood up on the surf board for like 2-3 seconds.

Fun Run

 Kia ora every one.  On Wednesday we had this thing called an fun run. For the fun run we had to do a fund raiser.  By getting donations we could get a prize, pie a teacher and give the money that we fund raised to Kids Can. Because they donate lots of stuff to our school so the school decided that they wanted to do the fun run, like the high school, and give the money that we fund raised  to Kids Can. 

On Tuesday we had to make our costumes because the best dressed class room and the winner got a day that they could wear what ever they wanted to wear. But sadly we our class did not win. Our class costume was just tutus that we made on our own but some people did need help with there one.           

Athletics

 On Tuesday we had our Athletics trials for zones Athletics. We had lots of practices for the trials. The sports that we had to do was long jump, high jump, shot-put, discus and long distance running. On Wednesday we did our sprints. We did sprints on Wednesday because it was too cold on Tuesday by the time we were meant to do it.

I got first in long jump, shot-put and discus. Long distance was the one that I had trouble with but I did really good for it being my worst one, I also came fifth.    

100 Word Count

 Kia ora people. This week we had to do our 100 word count. The prompt that we had to use were these 5 words CONCRETE   FLUFFY   SCOOTER   RED   DANCED.

I had exactly 100 words.I hope you enjoy reading my story that I had fun making up.

One hot sunny day I was on snap-chats talking to Freya and we wanted to stay at each other's houses. I was allowed to go to her house but she was not allowed to have her at my house but she was allowed to have me over to her house. I packed a bag.In the day I had my swim togs, PJ, 2 dress, some shorts and some T-shirts and a fluffy jumper. When I got to her house I played on Freya's brother's red scooter and she plate on her one. We played on the concrete we danced. 

Swimming 🌊🌊

Kia ora. The last two weeks we have bee going to Canterbury Swim School. I was in the big pool. In my group was Freya, Kelis, Tiana and some other people.

We got to Jump off the diving boards. Then swim back 2 times.We learnt backstroke, freestyle, and just swimming on our back.

Today we had to learn about what to do if someone was drowning and nobody was there to help. After that we had to get into groups. Then one of us had to get in the water and the other one had to throw you a noodle and then you had to pull you in.
